Wireless doorbell microphone not working

My wireless doorbell video works and the speaker works but there is no audio coming from the device to my app. My permissions are set properly and the microphone is enabled. Has anyone else had this problem? If so were you able to fix it?

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know that the events recording of your Roku Wire-free Video Doorbell does not have audio. We'd be glad to assist you with this issue.

Please follow the steps below and see if this works for you.

  1. Check if the Roku Smart Home app and Wire-free Video Doorbell firmware are up to date.
  2. Make sure the sound is turned on.
    In the live stream, the sound icon should be green for ON. If it is grey that means it is OFF
  3. Power cycle the camera.
    > Loosen the security screw at the bottom of the doorbell
    > Remove the backplate of your doorbell by sliding it down and then pulling it away
    > Press the Power button to turn the doorbell off
    > Wait 10 seconds
    > Press the Power button again to turn the doorbell on
  4. Factory reset the camera and set it up as a new device.
