Will I be able to click record without a subscription?

I want to be able to click record with my indoor camera and have it save to my phone. I don’t need auto recording, I’m wondering without the subscription will I still be able to click record and have it save to my phone?

Re: Will I be able to click record without a subscription?

I just recorded a video to my phone from my floodlight camera that doesn't have a subscription.  I assume all Roku cameras work the same.

Re: Will I be able to click record without a subscription?

A warm welcome here in the Roku community, @Kkabe17!

We appreciate you reaching out for support. We'd be more than happy to further assist you with this.

Firstly, you can manually record your live events through your phone even without a subscription. You just have to disable the motion detection so it won't auto-record events. Kindly visit this Support article on How to Disable motion detection to help you.

Let us know how it goes! Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Carly
