Roku indoor camera setup impossible

I'm trying to connect my indoor camera 360 using the Smart Home app but after the light starts flashing red and then the voice says ready to connect I cannot select the (usually) purple button that brings you to the Wi-Fi screen. For some reason the next button is all grayed out and doesn't register selection. Please help! I can't believe that I'm the only person that has this problem. I've tried resetting the camera, tried updating the app or redownloading it. I've tried everything that I can think of. Thanks for the help. I hope at least lol

When setting up your Roku® Smart Home device for the first time, it's important to ensure that it is connected to the 2.4 GHz internet. Please note that all smart home devices require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi® connection for seamless operation. For more detailed information please visit this helpful article: Why is my Roku Smart Home device not connecting to the app during setup? 

If the problem continues even after connecting to the 2.4 GHz internet frequency, we strongly recommend uninstalling the smart home application and then reinstalling it. You may visit this link: How to install the Roku Smart Home mobile app
