Can’t connect camera with phone

I did all that and still get “cannot connect to local network.” We have the 2.4 network but the Roku device isn’t connecting.
@Kaz2, is your 2.4GHz network's wireless mode set to b/g/n and not just g/n? I know Roku streaming devices have an issue with the wireless mode, but I'm not sure about the smart home products.
Sorry, but IDK what those initials mean? The 2.4 hasn’t been a problem for our prior security cameras. It’s an auto join set up

Are you trying to connect to a public network? Since your camera needs a 2.4GHz wireless network connection with WPA/WPA2 security standard.

Thanks, yes, I tried to connect to our own network, the 2.4GHz one. Currently, I have two cameras that were also set up to that network. I even disconnected one in case that was the issue, but it just wouldn’t connect after restarting my network, etc., and starting all over again, several times. We’re returning the camera, including the outdoor one, since both need to work.
