No sound
If you hear no sound on your video live stream or recording, make sure you enable sound for your video live stream or recording.
- Open the Home screen.
- Select your camera or doorbell.
- Tap Sound.
- Open the home screen.
- Select your camera or doorbell.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Advanced system settings.
- Toggle Record sound.
If you are still experiencing sound issues with your live stream or recordings, try updating the smart home app or check for firmware updates.

If all steps have failed and the issue persists, please provide us with the following information below so our team can investigate on the issue further:
- Roku Smart Home device model and Mac Address. (Smart Home mobile app, > Settings> Device info)
- Log ID (from the Roku Smart Home app, select Account > Roku Support > Submit a log).
