I just opened this camera out the box to set up. Never been used before. Brand new.
I talked right into the camera and I can ever so slightly hear myself. I mean like on a level that’s lower than a whisper. It also was noticeably a little delayed from when I spoke.
I can hear a little sound when I’m moving camera around as I’m watching on the livestream (muffling like sound) but that’s all. The sound sensitivity was raised via the app. my phone is also brand new and has no issues with its volume or speakers.
All I hear clearly is static or “muffle” sound from when I was moving camera around. But literally little to nothing when clearly speaking right into it. there’s no way this is normal functioning.
**Please help!! I’m so disappointed and ready to just return it and start my search for a new camera all over again !

If you hear no sound on your video live stream or recording, make sure you enable sound for your video live stream or recording.
If you are still experiencing sound issues with your live stream or recordings, try updating the smart home app or check for firmware updates.

We get that you are having trouble with your Roku Indoor camera SE which has no audio.
Before we begin, please clarify if you are referring to the live stream from the camera or the recorded event video.
In the meantime, I highly suggest trying the information provided by our Roku moderator @RokuJohnB. Additionally, consider uninstalling the Roku Smart Home app and reinstalling it.
