Help me with my camera it's in black and white

Have you tried rebooting your Roku Smart Home device to see if that helps resolve the issue you are seeing?

my roku floodlight camera only displays black and white. i tried to reboot it and remove power completely. this is a new camera, so it is very frustrating. it had a color picture for less than 24 hours, now nothing but black and white picture. need help, please!
Do you have "Night vision" set to "On" in the app? Go into the settings for the camera (click on the gear in the upper right corner when the camera is displayed) and then you'll find the "Night vision" setting under "Advanced settings". Try setting it to "Auto" or "Off"
turning off night vision was the first thing i tried. i also tried power cycling and resetting the camera to factory defaults. finally, i tried removing the camera from the app and adding it again, which finally solved the issue. this situation (only black and white camera picture) occurred with a camera i had mounted previously (less than a full day after mounting and initial set up within the app). it also occurred on a new installation (first time the camera was added to the app).
i see posts for how their roku players will suddenly go to black and white only display, so it appears to have something with their software that they have yet to fix.
