Had 2 outdoor wireless, 1 wired outdoor, 1 wired indoor. Bought a third outdoor wireless, it would not charge. Exchanged it; replacement cam worked and on the first or 2nd charge, it stopped working, won’t change. Then 1 of the wireless outdoor cams I had for about a year quit charging, now my wired outdoor cam stopped working. When I plug it in, light on the front goes blue, red, and then the camera cuts off. I used to advocate for Roku and recommend, now I am looking into the other brands. Very disappointed. And yes, itired everything, different cords, delete and re-add.

Hello! @mariaiinwv,
Thank you for posting in the Roku Community!
We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to our attention. We must ensure that all devices have a fully operational camera and are free of charging issues. Rest assured, we are dedicated to providing you the assistance you need and will do our utmost to resolve any concerns.
Troubleshooting:
- Please make sure you plug the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) directly into the Roku Base Station.
- To prevent the camera's battery from draining as fast as it charges, ensure it is turned off for the entire 4-hour charging duration.
- Try a different charging cable if you have another one available. (Micro USB plug type)
- If you're using a good charger and charging from the base station or provided adapter, the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) still does not flash red.
- Please get in touch with our support team for further assistance.
- If the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) flashes red when connected to a charging cable, but the battery level still shows 0% in the app, this is likely not a hardware defect. Try re-pairing the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) with the Base Station.
- If it has already been set up successfully, ensure the camera has installed the latest firmware.
- Manually switch the camera on/off using the power switch on the back of the camera.
- Provide us an app log, MAC ID, and the app log ID:
- Tap Account > Roku Support > Submit a Log in the Roku Smart Home app.
- Choose the Outdoor Camera > Battery Performance.
- Next, fill out the details, and ensure the Send log files are checked, then tap Submit.
Understanding the status light is essential when powering your Roku Outdoor Wired Camera SE. Please refer to the setup guide for details.
Thanks,
