I received an unknown charge from "The Roku Channel" for $24.44. I checked my subscriptions and purchases pages online and neither of them have had any activity in over 6 months. Is this charge from Roku or is it a scam?
Per Wells Fargo, the purchase info is as follows:
The Roku Channel
816-2728107, DE
Probably a real charge from Roku Inc. However, you could submit a bill inquiry at this page.

How would it be real if I have no purchases or subscriptions active?
I honestly have no idea. In fact, I’m tagging @Hector-Roku and @Alex-Roku, so that they can explain to you more about this issue.

That same number has come up a few times here in the Community. I do believe it is a fraudulent charge as none of the more recent posts seemed to have anyone recognize having such a charge. Usually this number is accompanied with the Roku Channel, Vudu, Disney Elect, and others.
I would certainly contact bank or your credit card provider and report as fraudulent. Perhaps the Roku Employees tagged in previous post will respond with more info as well for you.
It certainly would be nice to know for certain if this is legitimate or not as some Employee responses could be interpreted to read that it is and can be explained by contacting billing, while others seem to indicate it is not a valid charge. Please update when you find out so we can know for sure.
