The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

This does not work because the Paramount+ app on the Roku ONLY offers trial subscription sign up using the Paramount+ app. They need to add a sign in option for those who already have PM+.

The irony is, I usually buy my Roku devices through Walmart.

Re: The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

Are you sure there is no sign-in? Sometimes they are hidden or look like tiny text. Try using the arrow keys to see if there is something hidden or maybe need to scroll down. I have Paramount+ direct through Paramount, and had no issues logging in on my Roku's.

Re: The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

@BWTX @andyross There are two different Paramount Plus apps.  If you just go to streaming channels the only one I could find was Paramount Plus through the Roku channel which only offers the free trial.  Don't use that app.  Instead search for streaming channels and find the Paramount Plus app.  Make sure it does not say though Roku Channel.  Install this Paramount Plus app and you can sign in.

Now the Paramount+ channel has been removed from my Roku and there is nothing but the trial through the Roku app.

Re: The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

@CBarbatus, note that if you remove an app from one Roku device it's removed from all Roku devices linked to the same account.  It's not clear what exactly you're saying, but if you have a subscription directly with Paramount+ you should add the Paramount+ app and log in with the credentials you've established with them.  If by "Roku app" you mean The Roku Channel, that's not what you want to be using.

Re: The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

The missing Paramount+ and other apps in the grid are back and working this evening.  My Roku stick either glitched strangely yesterday or something was corrected at the Roku end.

Re: The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

There was/is a glitch with a recent middleware update that causes updated icons to show up blank. The app is there, it's just the icon is mostly blank (it's a pale generic "broken" icon.) One fix is to start the app, then reboot the Roku. If you have the new tile size option in settings/home screen, toggling between the sizes may also force it to refresh and load the icons.

O am having the same issue. I can sign in on the actual 'paramount' app but don't have the option to sign in on the 'paramount on roku' app. The only option is to start a free trial.

Download  and launch paramount  through the actual paramount plus app itself

Re: The Paramount+ channel had no option to sign in

Why would you want to use Paramount+ through The Roku Channel, which is what I assume you mean by the Roku app. Going the The Roku Channel app is treated completely differently. It's the same with Amazon Prime. Accessing other services through Prime must have subscriptions through Prime.
