Roku ITVX subscription question

Jump to solution

I have a subscription through Roku for ITVX which works fine on my TV, how do I also get it to work on my iPad, when I use my iPad it does not recognise my subscription?

Generally, any subscription that is paid through Roku (Roku Pay), requires the user to watch through the Roku Channel (select channel/apps) or on a Roku device. (all channels/apps).

If a premium subscription is available through the Roku Channel, and you are away from your Roku device, you can use the official Roku mobile app (install on mobile device) and then watch that way.  Should be able to do that with your Ipad if ITVX is included among the select channels/apps. (not sure if it is).

Otherwise, if you want to watch a premium subscription on any device (Roku or otherwise), it is a better idea to subscribe directly with the subscription provider (ITVX).  That way, you can watch your content on any supported device whenever you want. https://www.itv.com/

Roku Pay is really only for convenience and is geared for those that only watch content on their Roku devices. (consolidates all subscriptions and payments into one place).  For those that want to watch on other devices or while away from their Roku devices, it is recommended to just subscribe directly with each provider.
