Let's perform some steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Follow the steps below:
Restart your Roku Remote
- Reset your remote: Press and hold the Back/pairing button and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds.
Re-pair your Roku remote
- Set the Roku device in pairing mode, unplug it from the power outlet for 15 seconds, and plug it in again.
- Initiate pairing by pressing and holding the Back and Home/pairing buttons for 5 seconds.

It appears this is only happening with the Xfinity Stream app. When it happens I have to unplug the Roku then plug it back in and then it works for awhile.
