Wi-Fi hardware missing

So…I’ve seen these messages here, and not it’s happening to me!

I have contacted Philips, I have contacted Roku, both say the other should fix it.

i have done the factory reset (several times)

I have done the hard reset button, I have placed software updates on a flash drive and uploaded to the tv (couple times)

Ive seen it said to do a network connection reset, but I don’t even have this option under any area in settings.

my tv doesn’t have an Ethernet connection so guessing I need to get a Roku or Amazon stick at this point? Or resort back to a VCR!

any help is welcome, please and thank you

  • I bought the tv in November so haven’t even had it a year. It did work for a while, worked great!
I did begin with Philips, and they said it’s a common thing and that Roku would have to fix it. I was told this on chat and on a phone call.

      Thanks for the update, GrauntyBoo!

To help us dig into this further, can you please share the following info below?

      • Roku device model, Device ID, Serial Number, and Software version (It can be found in Settings > System > About)
      • Tracker ID (Press Home five times, then press Back button five times when the issue occurs)

Hoping to get some help with the details!

Are you saying that no wireless networks appear when you attempt to connect it to WiFi? I have heard reports of some Roku TVs having a bad antenna connection on the wireless module, but that would be a hardware issue that the manufacturer has to address. Since you mentioned Philips, I assume they built your TV. That means any hardware issues are their responsibility. How old is your TV? Did it ever work on WiFi?

    Hey GrauntyBoo

We appreciate the troubleshooting steps you took to fix the issue with your Philips Roku TV with Wi-Fi.

We'd like to learn more about the missing Wi-Fi hardware. Could you provide additional details? Are you referring to your Wi-Fi network name not appearing in the list when you try to connect your device to the internet?

    Looking forward to your reply.

I can’t even get to the scan screen to try to find a network connection. See the screenshot of the message below.

Someone said to go under advanced settings and do network reset, but I don’t even have that option

        Thanks for the photos, GrauntyBoo!

Could you share if this happened after an update or if it has worked before? Also, when did you start noticing this issue?
