Why does my theme keep changing?
I purposely removed all advertisements and fluff menu options from my home screen, and I also use the graphine wallpaper. Yet without fail, every few months, it gets reverted. Today, my wallpaper was The Simpsons, and there was an advert on the screen, too.
I'd appreciate a response from someone at Roku on this matter. Why does Roku think it's acceptable to continuously revert changes to our TVs, change wallpapers to promotional content, and add menus to our home screen?
We paid for our TV, we shouldn't be subject to your environmental advertisements. Obviously you're doing this for money, but considering this is a product we ALREADY PAID for, we should have control over what displays on our home screen. If we go out of our way to remove advertisements and fluff menus from our TV, we did it on purpose. Because we don't want to see it. Roku bringing back menus and changing settings on the TVs that WE OWN is just starting to piss me off, to be blunt.
Unless there's some setting that prevents these updates/changes from happening to our TVs, I'd appreciate an internal tech ticket to be opened to add this functionality. We have a right to control the system configuration of our property.
