Volume Stuck At 100 And Won't Go Down on Roku TV

This happened to our 43 inch Westinghouse tv... the remote wouldn't work even after batteries were replaced. Given there is only one button on the tv undercarriage  - with limited options - it was awful!

Good news... after applying some of the tips such as shut down tv, change batteries, get phone app..the Volume at 100 got unstuck.

What I kept doing was pressing the mute button and the down volume button at the same time. Might be a fluke but after two weeks of randomly pressing all the remote buttons, something worked. Hope it stays working now!
