I have two Roku tv’s and two Roku ultras with the same issue and judging from the number of threads on this site naming this issue and some of them dating a few years back, I have to ask, does Roku have any intention at all in resolving this issue? Or just letting customers live with it?
we have been onboard since the very first tv streaming device Roku was put out. Is the solution to get an Amazon fire tv streaming device?

I understand that the volume button on your Roku remote is adjusting independently. Could you share a bit more information to help me figure this out?
- The model number of the remotes.
- Is this happening with all apps and shows on your Roku?
- When and where did you purchase these devices?
In the meantime, please try this step: Home > Settings > System > Power > System Restart.

Have same issues on 3 tvs Samsung and one remote out of the box has a sticking volume button so goes full or no volume randomly. Si one issue with one remote is the sticking volume button that somehow passed QC and on top of that Roku and the tv fight for volume level control. Note this also happens to many other people I know. Turning off the tvs settings for auto adjust volume help to minimize the issue, but it never disappears I think it is an inherent software, flaw with Roku.

- The model number of the remote.
- Can you check if the remote has any dents, broken buttons, or buttons that are stuck down?
- When and where did you purchase this remote? Did it come with the Roku device, or was it sold separately?
- Did it function normally before, or did the issue occur suddenly? Or did it happen right out of the box?
