Unable to reinstall from network message

We have two Roku 4K streaming sticks with a wireless connection to the same network. The first one installed works fine, but the second new one won't run any channels and shows this message:

Can't run channel
'channel name' could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network connection and try again.

I tried:

- Power-cycling the problem Roku device

- Restarting the Roku: Settings > System > Power > System Restart.

- Restarting the router

The Roku is connected to the network (AT&T), but I still get the same message and cannot get any channels.

Please advise. Thank you. Melissa

      Hey @@javic12,

      Welcome aboard!

I appreciate you letting us know about your network issue. To get this sorted, please share this information:

      • Have there been any recent changes to your network or provider?
      • What error message or code do you see when trying to connect?
      • How far is your device from your network router?
      • When did this issue happen?

In the meantime, you can check how to connect to a mobile hotspot and see if it works.
Please keep us updated on your findings.

      Thanks,

      The Roku Community Team

This problem started around a month ago. We just changed providers today and even with the new WiFi I am having the same issue. The router is in the living room roughly 15 ft away from my streambar.
When I try to open Netflix it says “could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network connection and try again.” I go to setting to check my connection and it tells me I have a good connection.
When I try to open any other app the screen goes black and then returns to the Home Screen. Netflix and Spotify are the only apps that give me an error screen.
I have tried doing a network connection reset, system restart and a factory reset. I have also tried connecting to a hotspot and it still doesn’t work. I have tried unplugging the streambar for a few days and the issue continues.
