How to contact Roku Support?

Can you guys help me on my TV to collect my Internet

  • Hi Kadavyf,

    Greetings from the Roku Community!

We understand you want to connect your Roku device or TV from your home network, and we're happy to help.

Your Roku streaming player or Roku TV system will automatically ask you to connect to the Internet during initial setup.

Some Roku TV systems require an internet connection to complete the setup. After setup, your TV can be used without an internet connection but will be limited to playing content from HDMI sources, cable, or over-the-air broadcasts.

Connect your Roku device to Wi-Fi during setup

When prompted during Guided Setup, use the following steps to connect your Roku device to Wi-Fi.

    1. Select Wireless on your Roku device.
    2. Select your wireless network from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
    3. If you do not see your network, select Scan again to see all networks.
    4. Enter your network password.
    5. Select Connect.
    6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the rest of the setup process.

For more information, check out this support article on connecting your Roku streaming device to the internet.

We hope you'll find this information useful. Please keep us posted if there's anything else we can do to assist you.

    Best regards,
    John

Roku does not offer a phone number or email address for support. Do NOT do a web search for Roku support, The only returns you will get will be spam sites that try to con you out of your Roku account info as well as credit card info to "pay for support". Roku does not charge for support at any time. Anyone offers to assist for a fee is a scam artist.

There is a support site from the community menu list: https://support.roku.com/ Start your search for assistance there, and you can reach their chat and email support contacts.

Why is there no contact support #?

      There is only robot chat.

honestly it’s really a bunch of BS when we bundle packages together and then we see that ROKU is still charging us through the ROKU channels.. like AMC, STARZ, etc..

Some of us are on a very tiny budget and cannot deal with the BS like this.. it needs fixed asap!

  • my remote works sporadically.  I have to walk to different parts of the room to get it to work.  What can I do to fix thhis??

      Welcome beesure30

We understand that your remote is not working properly and want to investigate further. Could you tell us what Roku remote you are using?

If your remote has a voice button, you have a Roku voice remote. If it does not, you have a Roku simple remote.

Three Roku remotes are shown side by side, each with a purple arrow pointing to the voice button. The voice button is located below the directional pad and is marked with a microphone or magnifying glass icon. If your remote includes the microphone button, it is a Roku voice remote. If the button is missing, you have a Roku simple remote.

      We'll wait for your response.

I cannot get anybody to help me!! Trying to set up Roku after purchasing a new Roku stick.  What do I do?  Is there a number I can call?

  • 1.  I roku stick on one television.  I am going to be in that room tonight and am trying to ge Roku to work.  The remote is not working.  Changed batteries 2x and still nothing.  I have a roku TV and it doesn't work on that either,

A remote for a Stick will not by default control a TV. Without pairing a WiFi remote, it will attempt to use infrared (IR), and Roku players use different IR codes than Roku TVs. So a non-TV remote will never control a TV via IR. But unless your Stick is a really, really old model (is your Stick purple?) it should be able to be paired for WiFi Direct control.

  • Also, the remote for my Roku tv doesn;t work on this one either, although the two remotes are identical

The remotes for a Roku player and Roku TV are NOT identical. Plus, chances are your TV remote is IR only (is it a voice remote?) and all versions of a Roku Stick (the players that can plug into a TV without an HDMI cable) do not support IR at all.
