Trying to connect my Roku streaming device to someone's Roku tv

Can anyone help?  I just moved in with my roommate & she has a Roku tv.  I'm trying to watch my Roku streaming device that has all my shows, apps & passwords on there to her Roku tv, but it keeps saying not connected.  I get that so I'm trying to connect to her network but it won't let me.  It won't even let me scroll to the setting to do that.  Please help =(

    Make sure you enable the correct HDMI input under the RokuTV settings (Settings/TV Inputs) using the RokuTV remote.  Then select that input from the RokuTV Home Screen. (again, using RokuTV remote).

    Once you see your Roku streaming device's Home Screen appear, then use your Roku device's remote (not the RokuTV remote) to go to Settings/Network/Setup Connection and connect your device to the network.

    Post the model number of your Roku device if still having issues.
