Times out after Pause and goes back to Home Screen

My brand-new Roku Ultra times out when I pause the program, and when I press PLAY, it sends me back to the Home Screen instead of back to my program. I have disabled the Bandwith Saver. So I re-installed my 2012 Roku and it does not have this glitch. Will have to return the Ultra, maybe try Apple TV? This happen to anyone else?

    How long are you pausing the video?  If the screen is blank or showing any kind of screensaver do not press Play!  Try pressing any other button like Back or the down arrow until you see your paused video and then press Play.

      Thank you!  I will hook up the Ultra again and try that.  I gave up on it, re-boxed it for return, and have been using the 2012 Roku.  But I will hook it up and try this.  Fingers crossed.

      Yes!  thank you so much for jumping in.  I have tried that - not pressing play but different buttons.  It doesn't work, I still go back to the Home Screen, not the program I paused.  But with my old 2012 Roku that I am using now because I am returning the Ultra, that never happens!
