Streaming live TV at 720P on a 4K TV
I need to buy a new TV and it seems like the only thing I can find is a 4K TV, my question is this, can I stream live TV at 720P using my Roku device on a 4K TV.
I'm somewhat limited on the amount of data I can use, if the Roku device will let me stream live TV at 720P on a 4K TV I will have sufficient amount of data to watch TV.
You can limit the Roku devices to the desired resolution output under Settings/Display Type/[720p]
Just make sure to manually set it to 720p and not use "Automatic".
If you are trying to conserve data, make sure to enable bandwidth saver under Settings/Network/Bandwidth Saver as well and always make sure you press the "Home" button on your Roku remote to return to Home Screen that stops any streaming activity.
