If you find the next best thing... PLEASE let me know. I have an AppleTV that's great but don't use it often because it's not 4k. I've considered going to the Nvidia Shield but held off as they haven't upgraded the hardware since 2019. There's talk of a Steam box coming down the line if you're a gamer.
How hard is it *snark* to add an opt-out that shows you respect your customers? And it's not just menu spam—it's menu spam that looks like it's added by teenage autists. And by the way, NO MEANS NO! It doesn't mean try again in a few days. And I assure you that no one in this household is young enough, i.e., under 14, to be tickled by these infantile background themes you keep shoving down our throats. I've already made this point in a number of high-traffic streaming forums. I've actually never met a single other poster who wants menu spam. It's not a socially appropriate way to inform customers of new options. (There are adulting coaches who can give you behavioral guidance about such things.) We bought dedicated integrated TVs believing you wouldn't sh*t all over such customers this way. Please tell the grownups in the company what you've been doing, and stop doing it. You're trashing your own brand. If I owned stock, I'd already be selling. With your falling market share, you can't afford to alienate more customers.
