Son taking out pad on rku streaming remote

My preteen, autistic son removes the up/down side/side button on the remotes. Ive gone through 4 in months. Is there replacement pads I can purchase? Any suggestion's?

    Since it sounds like any remote you buy is going to be essentially “disposable”, you might also look at some of the cheap third-party remote on Amazon and ebay etc.  Just make sure to read the description carefully to get one that is compatible with your device.  (For example, a remote for a TCL Roku TV has different IR codes than a remote for a Roku player.)
