set up Roku Premier on Windows 10 HDMI port

I have an HDMI port on my Windows 10 desktop but when connecting my Roku Express to that HDMI port and plugging in the USB my computer does not show any thing connected to the HDMI. Is this a Windows issue or an issue with the Roku Premier?

    Rokus have HDMI output ports.  The vast majority of HDMI ports on computers are HDMI output ports.  So it's probably a user issue. 😀

    Unless you're sure that you have an HDMI input port on your computer.
