I HAVE TRIED HOLDING THE BACK AND HOME BUTTONS THEN PRESSING THE MUTE AFTER 20 SECONDS. STILL HAVE THE ACCESSIBILITY SHORTCUT SCREEN AND CANNOT GET IT CLOSED. I DO NO WANT TO USE SHORTCUT.
Go into your Samsung TV (using the Samsung remote, not Roku) and disable the Accessibility options.
May be under the Advanced Settings or you can toggle the menu using the volume keys.
You need to disable them from within the Samsung itself. The Roku remote is merely toggling your Samsung Accessibility features whenever you press the Roku volume buttons. It is not a Roku setting, it is a Samsung setting you need to change.

I am having this problem with my Sony TV, but the "User Accessibility Shortcut" screen is not going away. I no longer have my original TV remote, and the remote I have isn't responding/giving me access to the TV settings. Is there any other way to get the screen to go away? I will try to buy a new TV remote, but in the meantime I can't use my TV.

Hey there! rdavin
Could you send us a quick photo or video of your TV screen? We'd like to see what's happening so we can take a closer look at your TV screen concern.
Hoping to get some details soon!
