DutchQMomma1 If you have a different HDMI input available on the Sanyo TV try that. If that does not work try a factory reset of the Roku streaming stick 4K. You did not buy the wrong product, what you are experiencing is very unusual.

There is a problem. That option is not available when nothing is on the screen. How else could you do this?

DutchQMomma1, it sounds like there's a stuck button on the Roku remote. Assuming it's not a rechargeable remote, try taking the batteries out of the Roku remote and see if the TV calms down.

After extensive testing with and without Roku connected, in different rooms, etc. the TV seems to be finished. Sanyo pooped out on us.
RIP Sanyo. Long live ROKU.
