Well, sorry to say, but this is a chronic issue that Roku is ignoring.
I've been having the same issue and got the same response from Roku.
Seems to be a manufacturing defect that Roku is neglecting to fix.
I just filed a complaint with the BBB. I suggest you and others do the same.
Clearly, that's the only option to try and get some real resolution.
Not sure I want to purchase another Roku at this point, so looking into other options for streaming.
