I have the same issue as everyone else here. The Roku Ultra and remote are about four months old now and suddenly a charge only lasts a day or two, and the green light slowly pulses. I took it off of charge at 100% two hours ago and it is at 95% without using it.

I ended using the basic roku controller just to turn the tv on. Use my smart phone to control everything in the roku. This has been pretty much my setup since the last communication. Roku controllers are inherently bad. If it is not, volume buttons not working, is the battery icon and pairing light flashing all the time. The company does not seem to care enough that a good product has such a bad remote. I expect no fixes at all. But if not mistaking you are within the warranty period. File a claim and maybe you will get a good unit. Let us know later if they replace the unit and how long the new unit last.

Hi acerbick,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We're sorry for the inconvenience about this remote woes and thanks for flagging us about this.
We'd suggest to try restarting your remote by following the guided steps below.
Restart remote
- Plug the remote into power.
- Hold down the pairing button for 20 seconds (while holding down the remote light will start to flash. Keep holding and at the 20-second mark, the light will turn off. The remote will then restart)
Let us know if that makes a difference.
Thanks,

is has been mentioned several times. This was attempted by me before making this post. In reality, with all the troubleshooting and attempted fix suggestions found everywhere, there was just no fix.
Inevitably, I had to get a replacement remote from the retailer and that second remote operates fine. I hope it lasts, unlike some of the other reports I have read about the remotes for this.
