Roku TV Netflix crackling sound

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention with this playback issue; we would like to know more.

    Aside from the TV's speakers, do you have external speakers? You may also restart the TV: Go to Home > Settings > System > Power > System restart.

My roku sound has worked fine  for years, but now I just get crackling sound on netflix and Amazon Prime, and I guess all channels.  TV Sound is fine on cable.
