Hello! In case it's helpful, I'm also experiencing this same issue, as 2 of my 3 Roku devices are currently appearing in the Roku mobile app on Android (latest version), and therefore I can only access those 2 devices via the Google Home connection. When I sign into Roku.com I can see all 3 devices listed, but in the app I'm seemingly not able to see the third device, my Roku Streaming Stick 4K device, listed as a connected device despite them all being signed into the same user account with my correct user email address.
I've tried to resolve the issue by factory-resetting this streaming stick, removing and adding it to my account via the device/email confirmation twice, with no luck yet having it appear. I believe this device previously appeared in my Google Home devices list, but no longer.
Below is my device info, and I've attached the relevant screen shots. Thank you very much!
Device Model: 3820R2 - Streaming Stick 4K Device ID: S0J734DLEHVC Serial Number: X02500GLEHVC Software Version: 15.0 Tracker ID: VC-334-716 Roku Mobile app version: 12.8.0.6146206 (Android latest version)
We'd like to check things out so we can isolate the issue further.
Have you tried checking if both your mobile device and Roku are connected to the same exact network (Check this under Settings > Network > About)
Try reconnecting your Roku TV to the network and see if the connection is successful.
Let's try using AirPlay or Screen mirroring. Does the device appear on the network as one of the listed devices?
Lastly, perform a Network Connection Reset
under Settings > System > Advanced system settings (please have your network name and password ready), reconnect to your Wi-Fi, and see if you are able to locate your Roku TV on the app.
Thanks for these suggestions, Emmanuel! I checked that the wireless networks matched between my devices, disconnected and reconnected wifi networks and performed the network connection reset, but I'm still not seeing my Roku Streaming Stick 4K device listed in the app as one of my devices. I am also able to use Smart View screen mirroring from my Android phone to this Streaming Stick, but the device still doesn't appear as one of the devices in my account via the Roku app (or Google Home).
Let me know if there's anything else I should try to investigate from my devices. my Roku Pro Series TV is on the same wifi network and is showing up as one of my devices currently, in addition to a TV that is on a separate wifi network in a different location, just not this streaming stick for some reason. Thanks again for your help!
