Manix Yes, the WiFi will work, assuming the WiFi network is not using a DFS channel on 5 GHz. On 2.4GHz, you should be OK, although your Roku will only work on channels 1-11, so in case they use channel 12, 13 or 14 you won't see their WiFi at all. That is a possibility in another country.
That said, many providers will geofence their service and if your IP address comes back as an unsupported location you will not be able to access their content. Examples are MAX, Prime Video, Netflix, and more. YouTube should work anywhere. Just don't be surprised if your desired provider has you blocked from accessing their content.
