Roku Streaming Stick & Remote Compatibility with LG TV

I have set up Roku streaming sticks and remotes with 3 different Samsung TVs. The process was quick, easy, and ultimately successful in all 3 cases. I have a brand-new LG smart TV, and I cannot set up the Roku streaming stick and remote. Two setup process steps differ with the LG compared to the Samsung TVs. First, I get stuck on the screen pictured below after selecting the HDMI port in which the streaming stick is connected. Second, the light on the Roku remote does not go on, and the remote seems to be non-functional. At that step in the process, I cannot proceed to the language selection and subsequent steps. Can anyone please help?

    Thanks for sharing the photo. You mentioned you're having trouble setting up both the Roku remote and streaming stick with your LG TV.

    Were you able to successfully pair the remote with your Roku device? If not, feel free to check out this link for troubleshooting steps. Once the remote is paired, you can proceed to activate your Roku device.
