Roku Simple Remote Compatibility

Can a ROKU RC1068 simple remote control be used with a ROKU Ultra 4800x streaming media player?

    Roku TVs and Roku devices operate using different IR codes, making it impossible to use a Roku TV remote with a Roku device.

Sorry but no. Roku tvs use a completely different IR code set then Roku Streamers like the Roku Ultra.

I guess that probably answers my similar, but opposite question-

Can a Philips Roku tv remote be used to control a simple Roku Express? (obvious reason is for the volume control on the Philips remote)
