Roku Ultra and Roku Ultra LT will work with any television with an HDMI connection. However, you cannot take advantage of 4K Ultra HD resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and similar HDR formats without a compatible TV. Hi John, thanks for the quick response but that really didn’t answer my questions.
The Samsung TV model I have is 4K UHD… which is same as 4K Ultra HD, which should make it compatible with the Roku Ultra to present 4K UHD, correct?
Please note what prompted my post was the message that appeared during Roku setup… it stated:
“Your tv supports better picture quality (4k hdr10)”… I was only able to proceed with instal with 1080p resolution.
That said, I want to do whatever is needed to have 4K UHD; How do I change the resolution settings from 1080p to 4K UHD?
Again, I have Samsung model UN75JU6500.
