Roku reset with replacement remote

Hi, I recently reset my Roku tv, I have the original remote however it doesn’t work anymore I got a Roku replacement and it worked great however when I reset my tv to log into my own Roku account my remote isn’t working properly. I can turn off the tv and it makes sound when I press the Netflix button and Roku channel button. The tv is clearly receiving but stuck on the let’s get started screen. I tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in but I literally just bought this remote not long ago. I would like to either find a way to fix the old remote or make this new remote work. For reference it is a Roku remote from Roku not a knockoff so I’m not understanding why it’s not working.

    Hi figured it out and I’ll put the solution here for anyone that needs, my replacement Roku remote didn’t have a pairing button, hold down back button and home button at the same time until flashing green light (I had to do it a few times) my remote worked faster when I reset and repaired the remote. Hope this helps anyone that needs it :)
