Roku remote not recognized

Once the input port is chosen on the TV for the Roku usually the Roku remote will take over. Now when you choose the port it goes to the Roku screen saver but the Roku remote doesn't work. It's like the TV and remote are not talking to each other.

    Have you tried new batteries in the remote?  Is it a simple remote or a voice remote?

      Even i have the same issue... I have tried the following:

      1. Replacing new batteries

      2. Resetting the Roku Express 4K+ device as there is no reset button on the remote.

      3. Unplugging and plugging in back both HDMI and Micro USB cables. 

       

      Still the same. Can someone help?
