I just bought a brand new onn. Roku TV and when I set it up there is an upside down red 1R stuck in display on the screen. It is in the top, left corner. Any idea how to get rid of it? It is still there after set-up and restart.

Hi there, I am also having this issue and this is what the display looks like. I have tried restarting and it still won't go away for some reason.
Any help would be appreciated!
As you can see the red numbers on mine are there when I turn the TV off or on; therefore, they are permanent; as you can see by the smudges, I tried to use rubbing alcohol: the red characters are located on the inside of the paneling. Most likely a manufacturing marking that was supposed to be polished off and was missed by QA because when the TV is off you can't see it, unless you smudge it like I did. I also set my flash on and zoomed to the perfect focus at 5.3 optical zoom.
As you can see I bought a TV that will forever have an annoying red text in the upper left corner with no way to return it because it is past the return time.
