Roku IP Address with no remote or mobile or wifi connection model 3700x

I have the same problem my initial controller was damaged and my Roku is not connected to my new wifi since I moved, so now I bought a new controller it has no pairing button and since my Roku is not connected it just turn on the "let's get started" screen and there is no way for me to connect it or set it up

    This new remote does it have tv controls like power and volume? If it does its Roku Tv IR remote and won't work with 3700 Roku express, Roku Streamer's and Roku tv's use different IR code sets. Neither would a Roku remote with pairing button, because 3700's only work with IR remotes.

    My remote will not connect to my roku and it was connected just fine before

      The 3700 express only accepts IR commands, no wifi remote and so no pairing. The IR remote should just work, to check if the Roku IR remote is working point it at cellphone camera if you see flashes when you press a button it's working, no flashes it's not.
