Roku express 4k+ remote mute button changing aspect ratio on TV

    Try reprogramming the Roku remote for your tv but skip the first positive result by pressing YES, see if a later code gives you the proper mute command?

It seems your Roku remote's mute button is affecting your Sharp TV's aspect ratio. 

In my opinion, try these steps: 

 

Check if the mute button works normally. 

Update both Roku and TV firmware. 

Reset Roku's display settings to default.

Verify the HDMI cable is secure. 

Disable CEC on both devices.
