Roku and Ugreen Lan adapter problem

I have THREE Roku Express 4K 

I have TWO Ugreen Lan adapters

But cannot get any to work together.  As soon as connection is made, the usual, Roku screen appears but the screen does NOT REACT to the remote. As if the screen is frozen.

There have been similar mentions on this site but those have related to incompatible versions of Roku.  The Express 4K and Ugreen are supposed to work together.

No combination of three Rokus and Two Ugreens is working, so are they incompatible or am I missing some step that isn't mentioned in the instructions?

Any hints would be appreciated

    I don't know how many different models of adapters UGREEN offers. Per the Roku support page here, the only model supported by the Express 4K is this one. The support page also lists some different brand adapters that have been tested to work.
