Remote won't pair with LG TV

I have a Roku Ultra 4800X and a brand new LG OLED55C2 TV. When using the "Set up remote for TV control" feature, I select "LG" and music continues to play as it tries TV codes, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. No...

    I do have it turned on. Still no luck. I don't have my Roku player plugged in directly to the TV... does that matter?

    My setup is Roku > Receiver > TV.

grant01Using the LG TV remote go into TV settings and make sure that Simplink is turned on.

    SIMPLINK, that was it. Turning that on fixed the issue of my Roku remote not being able to pair with my LG TV. Thank you!
