Remote won't pair with device

I've got a Roku streaming stick+ (model 3810X) that won't pair with its remote. I am powering the device via an external USB power source (not through my TV's USB port). I turn the device and TV on....

I have a sanyo tv with no remote does not give me the option for a sanyo tv brand

Thanks for the post.

If you are trying to pair your Roku device remote to your Sanyo TV and are not able to detect the brand that your TV is using, we would recommend connecting your Roku device to an alternate wireless network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if you are able to see your brand TV during the pairing process.

Please keep us posted what you find out.

      Can you please provide us with more specific information about the issue you are experiencing? What Roku model device are you using? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue?
