Remote battery indicator flashing with new fully charged remote

I'm having the same issue.  2nd remote with same issue.  Didn't get it wet, it just shows a fully charged remote battery and it freezes the screen for up to 60 seconds.  The frequency that this indicator pops up is random, but my last one got progessively worse over time.  Could a Roku rep please contact me to send a resplacement?

  • Same issue with brand new Roku and Roku remote. Indicator appearances is becoming more frequent. Showing random bat status, but every time I check the battery status in the settings, it shows a reasonable percentage
