Thanks for posting this. We know it's BS, they can say that until Kingdom come and most likely will. It's all very well asking us to be patient, but we have paid for a service we aren't getting. I'd really like a refund, please, ROKU!!!
The new Roku 14.5 release was applied to my Roku TV (from version 14.1.4 build 7709 to version 14.5.4 build 5944). To see the version number select "Home->Settings->System->Software update".
Unfortunately, the Live TV Pause Bug was not fixed by this release.

Surprise, surprise! Of course it didn't! Well if that update software remotely then surely they can fix the Live Pause issue, just shows where their priorities lie!

Well guys, guess what? My live pause and rewind live TV are working again for 4 whole days. I did not after all take my TV back because I decided it was cheaper to keep it as a dumb tv with a Humax box than try and buy another tv for the same money. So I have been Humaxing for the last few weeks but still able to watch live tv via that. And out of curiosity, on Monday, I pressed the pause button waited, pressed play and it worked perfectly. I have also just rewound 'Pointless' by 10 minutes and rewatched and fastforwarded to current time. I shall keep the Humax box in the loop so I can actually record programmes too and fast forward through the adverts.
So good luck to you all. I will be back if it all goes pear-shaped again - if the new improved Community will let me in.

kwwells51 (Sharp TV) and JoanneWill (TCL TV) seem to have things corrected with their Pause issues. I just checked, and my Roku Select Series TV still has its problem. Here is the latest response from Roku Support.

It's been over a month, and the "backend team" still has not contacted me about any progress on the Live TV Pause Bug. At this point, it seems that they are giving me the same treatment as the other customers that reported this issue with their Roku Select Series and Roku Plus Series TVs over the past year.
