Random TV volume changes with Roku Streaming Stick+

We have two Roku Streaming Sticks+ with persistent random TV volume changes (jumps too high or jumps too low) on any and all channels. Automatic daily remote software updates and system restarts haven't fixed this. This problem has persisted and has been posted here for several YEARS - few Roku responses. None of Roku's few suggested solutions worked. Other xfinity-controlled TVs in our home don't have this problem, so it's not the cable provider's issue. Fix the da@#&*n Roku software.

    You may have "volume modes" enabled causing the volume changes.

    Do this:

    1) During playback (any video):  Press Options (*)/Volume Mode = Off

    Otherwise ad insertions/breaks are known to cause volume changes/dropouts/latency/stuttering/noise/etc - you cannot prevent this aside from limiting ad playback via higher subscription levels (some services), and you'll need to direct complaints about this to Roku and/or the app/service provider about the issue.
