Random lost remote signal
I am having the same issue. Some days it goes off only once. Some days, it goes off every 15-30 minutes. We have to pick which video we want to watch then pull the batteries. I keep searching this forum for an answer. I never seem to find one.
As I was typing this, the remote finder notification came up on the TV screen. The batteries are currently NOT in the remote. This is not a remote issue. It is a unit issue and one that has been known for many months.
Hi @PpPDX,
Thank you for sharing this issue with us,
Please be aware that the Roku remote finder feature activates only when you press the locator button, and pressing any button will stop the sound. For more information about Roku remote finder, visit our Support page here: How do I find my Roku remote using remote finder?
If the issue continues, please provide the following:
- Is this the remote that came with that device? If not, kindly specify if this is a Voice Remote Pro or Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition).
- Have you tried changing the remote batteries?
- Additionally, does the problem occur only on a specific channel, or on all channels on your Roku device?
We also suggest, resetting your Roku remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds.
Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Jharra
