  • How has this still not been fixed? Make it a toggle option and let’s move on.

  • Just learned about the photo stream option and joined this community to specifically complain about the QR code display.

It’s ugly, intrusive, and hardly useful.  Why do I need a QR code on my TV to add photos when I already have access to add them?  It’s not a convenience.

Remove the QR code already!  Can’t believe you all have been sitting on this issue for 3 years.

  • I'm glad this is still being requested. I'm hoping they remove it soon!

  • Still waiting for fix to remove “Scan to add photos to Photo Stream” and QR code from photos ALREADY appearing on Photo Stream as of July 2025.

How is this still an issue? People have been complaining about this for 3 YEARS and is something that should be a 10 minute coding fix.

I find the random posting of the QR code in the lower righthand corner ugly and intrusive. How many times do users really need to see it? Surely you can offer an option to supress this disfiguring "feature."

I had one of the earliest posts  asking them to at least give us the option of displaying or not displaying that QR code.  It has received more "likes" (currently 94) than any of my nearly 10,000 other posts here.

Oh, they CAN fix it, but obviously have no desire to do so.  It's not that they don't know it is wanted.  They'd rather spend their time adding a promotional Superman Logo to the Search option title on the home screen than fixing actual problems.
