Backdrops error: "Your backdrops have been removed."
For a couple weeks now the backdrops app has been acting up again, and showing false statements such as „your backdrops have been removed“. Even tho I still have my favorite backdrops folder. In addition to this bug the backdrops are no longer automatically starting, like they used to. I have to manually start the app now. Please look into this. The support and maintenance of the backdrops app has been terrible for ever and ALWAYS something has to be broken with it. Roku should either drop this app and discontinue it, or maintain it properly. Im tired of backdrops refusing to work normal for even 2 weeks at a time.
Default Screensaver Appears on Home Screen After Timeout
Is there a way to use the default screen saver that is visible from the main screen after a time out, within other programs that do not offer changing video content, such as using Plex to listen to music. My AppleTV will revert to Apple screen savers when listening to music on Plex, but my Roku will only go to screen saver when it the main menu. It would be great to have the screen saver for any pause of video content, as well as listening to music, and if that is an option, feature or switch, where is it to turn it on.
Roku Screensaver keeps reverting to 10 minutes
Lately every time I update my Roku or reset it the screensaver 'wait time' keeps reverting to '10 minutes' even though I want it set on '30 minutes'. Before it would stay where I set it but recently in the past couple of weeks this new issue has begun to occur. It does it on my Roku Stick latest model and also on my 2017 Roku Ultra player. Obviously a Roku update screwed this up, so to the programmers at Roku, fix it now! It's extremely annoying! It even changed my screensaver from the Roku City Stroll to Aquatic life on one of my Ultra's. What is going on? And while we are on this topic, how about updating the settings so you can set more specific times for the screensaver wait time? You should be able to set it in five minute increments up to one hour in my opinion. Not just the options for 10, 20 or 30 minutes!
How do I keep my Roku playing all night with no power setting?
I have a Roku Express device and it doesn't have a power selection under the settings tab. I need to keep my Roku playing all night but it keeps going to screensaver. I turned the screensaver off and now it goes to the home screen after a couple hours. Hello, My Roku account/app on my phone is connected to the backdrops/photo stream app. However, it will not display my photos on the tv to allow me to choose them as my screensaver. I have removed the app and redownloaded as well as checked for updates on both the app & tv. I have also restarted the tv. please help!
Can't find the Roku Ninja Turtle wallpaper
Ever since I can remember, I’ve looked for the fourth Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the Roku home screen. It seems to me like when it first came out the manhole in front of the factory had one peeking out. I remember seeing all four of them at one time and that was the very beginning of the Roku home screen. Why is it gone now and please put it back it drives me crazy. Thank you
