No signal on TV - Tried ALL troubleshooting solutions

I am using a Roku Express (3930, 3931 series) . When I follow the setup instructions, the white power light is on but all I get is a "No Signal" message on my TV. I have tried:

1. Using a different HDMI cable

2. Unplugging all cables and plugging back in after 1 minute

3. Connecting to a different input source

4. Pressing the reset button on the back of the device

None of these solutions made any difference.

  • Hi Jazmyne,

    Greetings from the Roku Community!

We appreciate your effort in troubleshooting the issue. No worries! We will be more than happy to assist you further.

It is possible your Roku player is not receiving enough power, even if the power light is on. This happens sometimes if you connect your Roku player through a third-party device with a USB/AC power adaptor that does not meet more recent USB standards. Try a different power adaptor or try plugging your Roku player directly into a power source.

For more information, learn what to do if the red light is flashing or you see a "low power" warning.

If the problem persists, please keep us posted.

    Kind regards,

    John

Thanks for keeping us posted, Jazmyne

We appreciate the efforts you put in to resolve the issue you've encountered. May we know how you are powering your Roku device? Is it plugged it into a direct power source or at the back of your TV? Also, have you tried plugging the Roku device into another TV to see if you notice any difference?

        Let us know.

        Al the best,
        Kash
