I lost my email address I has through a cable company and joined proton email. When I tried to change my email address/ roku would not accept it, saying that the account belonged to another account. I tried my daughter's email address with proton and go the same message. Does anyone one know why roku will not accept proton email addresses?

That makes no sense at all. They are more secure than the cable email address I had that has been sold many times over the 15 years I had it on the dark web . They literally encrypted their emails that people complain it is too well done. The security is the whole point. Is it the spam issue, in that they are not a fan?
Idk, maybe it is time to move on from roku too. I had you guys forever even though I have smart tv. I was just used to you, but if I need to redo a whole new email just to make you happy, maybe I have out grown you.
